Michael Lentz

Michael Lentz serves as the Art Director for the Conceptual Image Lab at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center and leads NASA Creatives, a collaborative group of nearly 400 content creators across the agency. He works closely with scientists and engineers agency-wide to bring their stories to life through art and animation, alongside a diverse team of creatives. Michael began his career in 1992 at National Geographic Television, where he honed his skills as an artist and animator within the Art Department. During his time there, he contributed visual elements to hundreds of projects, many of which were featured in Emmy Award-winning productions.
